Abstract:
Popular customs and traditions determine the continuity of a nation in history, make this nation known inall aver the world. One of the most beautiful tradition of Romanians' spring holiday is the custom of wearing ”Mărțișor” in March. The ”Martișor” is a symbol of spring. A twisted white and red silk thread to which a lucky charm is attached. The ”Martișor” is worn on the chest on the left side.
