Abstract:
This article approaches the memories of the inhabitants of Fetești village, Edineț district, Republic of Moldova about The Famine of 1946-1947. The text addresses the event from the perspective of the Soviet socio-economic policy materialized in the local conjuncture, from the attitudinal actant perspective of the population and from the perspective of the traumatic experiences of the general bad context. It is also an attempt to preserve for local future generations the tragic experience of the few people who can evoke relevant testimonies.
