Abstract:
The educational project represents an alternative and complementary method of learning and assessment, very motivating for children. The project in technological education classes can be very easily linked to mathematics, physics, biology, chemistry, geography, plastic education and arts, computer science and ITC (information technologies and communications) etc. I started at the Belint Secondary School in 2007, by establishing a fruit tree orchard. (Belinț Secondary School Rural Education Project, ECOLOGICAL EDUCATION, PREMISE FOR A HEALTHY LIFE). With a large yard and an outdoor gazebo, all the students of the school can carry out activities outdoors, in nature, on various themes and in different classes. In the class technological education, with an annual theme, we have activities related to the maintenance of the orchard, through the pruning performed on the trees, forming the crown, cleaning and directing the fruit, digging around the stems and eliminating unwanted grasses from the culture. Every year with the students of the 5th grade, there is a lesson on the sub-theme: We learn to graft. Within the wood module from the 7th grade, we completed multiple sub-projects over time: The age of the tree, The birdhouse, The defects of the wood, The school fish, The enchanted basket.
