Abstract:
This article analyzes the formation of investigative competence in the study of sciences in primary and secondary education. For the subjects in the Mathematics and Science curriculum area, the competence of scientific investigation is common. The level of investigation competence training is influenced not only by the number of activities, but also by their content and how the continuity of this process is ensured. The analysis of the activities in the school textbooks reveals the fact that some skills necessary for the formation of this competence are not given due attention.
