This article emphasizes the importance of developing competencies, especially research competence, through the research project method in the context of school education. The research project method is presented as an effective way to foster research skills in students, providing them with the opportunity to develop their skills and explore topics that interest them. The advantages of this method include promoting active learning, enhancing communication skills, fostering critical thinking, and encouraging interdisciplinary collaboration.
