Abstract:
The promotion of a culture of tolerance is an educational goal that involves the optimal socioaffective development of teachers for their career advancement. An important point in the development of the culture of tolerance is emotional education aimed at preparing teachers to make the best choice and to orient themselves in the contexts of diversity of values. Thus, educational activity, reflected in emotional competences, cumulated in emotional culture, ensures balanced, motivated and value-oriented behaviour. The career trajectory depends not only on the individual's action resources at the beginning of the career and during it, but also on opportunities and, above all, on the way the individual has clear career goals and is able to use these opportunities to achieve them.
