Abstract

Emotional intelligence provides the manager with the correct management of emotions and feelings, develops the ability to choose the way to express a certain situation, which for managerial activity has an extreme value. Managers in whom emotional intelligence is well developed will be able to create an environment of trust and honesty, in which reason and competitiveness dominate, establishing positive interpersonal relationships and mastering both their own emotions and those of others.
