Abstract:
The stress is one of the most studied problem in contemporaneous science, especially in psychology. Stress is characteristic for all ages, sexes and professions. Nowadays, teaching career and teachers are affected by stress. The article presents the results of stress and stress reducing at teachers. In constative research we included 100 teachers and in formative: 22 teachers. As results for study of stress manifestation and its reduction we can mention that: 22% of teachers shows a high level of stress. In stress situation teachers chooses dezadaptative strategies such as mental disengagement, denial, avoiding activities, behavioural disengagement and suppression of competing activities. Teachers with high level of stress were included in program of psychologic interventions orientated on stress diminishing. After the program teachers presents a lower level of stress and prefer more efficient coping strategies.
