Abstract:
One of state Reservations, which have been preserved natural ecosystems less influenced by human activity, is "Plaiul Fagului". Natural reserve was established on March 12, 1992 based on hunting household "Radenii Vechi". It was created for the purpose of conservation, regeneration, organic recovery, studying one of the most picturesque and representative ecological forest ecosystems in the region of Codri. It is located in the northeastern part of the Plateau of Codri.
Natural Reserve "Plaiul Fagului" is a natural object picturesque landscape, a precious treasure of Moldova nature. Territory of the reservation is partly accessible for ecotourism. But firstly this complex of natural ecosystems, sanctuary of biodiversity is an object of research, a laboratory under the stars.
