Abstract:
After the anexation of Bessarabia bz Russian Imperor in 1812, the evolution of Romanian culture was caused by denationalization policy and russification promoted by tsarist. According to Russian rules, in the first decades there was certain functional bilingualism. When Romanian language was used in public life, administration, school and church. This was till 1835 when was established a term of 7 years, that restricted the use of Romanian language. (1835 – 1842).
Nobility through their actions in 1829 – 1839 towards tsarist authorities tried to improve the education of Moldavian people. Also it was proposed to collect or to buy teaching materials from Moldova or Romanian Country.
So in the first half of XIX century from Bessarabia acted for the use of Romanian language in public life.
