Deși suprafețele întinse de pădure din Germania erau deja menționate în vremuri străvechi, înțelegerea de astăzi a „pădurii germane” este puternic influențată de epoca romantică. În lucrarea următoare, istoria motivului va fi ilustrată folosind exemple din literatura germană, opere, cântece, filme, seriale TV și cărți de popularizare.	en_US
dc.description.abstract	The forest is one of the most popular cultural motifs in German history. Although the extensive forest areas of Germania were already mentioned in ancient times, today’s understanding of the ‘German forest’ is strongly influenced by the Romantic era. In the following paper, the history of the motif will be illustrated using examples from German literature, operas, song, films, TV series and popular science books.	en_US
