Abstract:
Literacy skills are beneficial in developing the capacities of reflection and expression, critical thinking and empathy, ensuring integration and participation in society in the components of life. The reader's relationship with the literary text is an original source of information by relating their own ideas and values to those transmitted by the text, at the same time giving them a complex range of emotions and feelings by encountering life situations that illustrate different types of human behavior. The presence of interpretive attitudes confirms a person's ability to read a text with understanding, to interpret the text through the prism of the connections between the text and what he knew before reading it, to form and express an opinion about the text, to use the information or the ideas extracted from the text.
