Abstract:
The article presents the results of the investigations regarding the modeling of biology lessons in secondary education from the perspective of schoolchildren centered education. The active involvement of schoolchildren in different activities, within the lessons represents a complex educational value, being directed to the self-realization and development of his personal qualities, based on the recognition of the uniqueness, the value of each child, his development not as a „collective subject”, but, first of all, as individuality possessing a subjective and unrepeatable experience, in order to successfully integrate into a constantly changing society.
