dc.description.abstract |
The article is dedicated to the problem of school conflicts, the cause of which is primarily to be found in the personality of the teacher and its activities. The resulting data allowed the study to compare the personality profiles of conflictual and non-conflictual teachers. The analysis showed that the profile of a conflictual teacher is significantly different from the profile of non-conflictual one. The personality of the conflictual teacher is more authoritarian, selfish, suspicious and inadequately appreciative of itself . In a conflict situation such teachers show rivalry, are uncooperative and hardly compromise. Also, comparing them to non-conflictual ones, these teachers show an independent form of behavior, aggressiveness and low level of submission. With such a set of qualities it is difficult for these teachers to be friendly and altruistic. |
