Abstract:
The concept of professional burnout or the term burnout is used more with reference to social professions. Burnout syndrome is understood as a psychological defense mechanism, which most often manifests itself as a gradually increasing emotional exhaustion, loss of emotional involvement in activities, an increase in mental and physical fatigue. Meanwhile, bunrout syndrome leads to the emotional exhaustion of the specialist, continually exceeding the individual reserves of energy and resources, developing over time as a finality a professional deformation. Unlike the emotional burnout syndrome, professional deformation brings about changes in the personality itself. The peculiarity of the phenomenon is that the phenomenon of professional deformation exceeds the scope of professional activity and manifests itself in the everyday life of a specialist, when a person begins to behave in non-work situations in accordance with their professional role.
