Abstract:
The geodemographic component plays an essential role in territorial socio-economic development. The river basin of Răut on its lower segment (as part of a detailed study within an institutional project) is not anexception in this respect; the human dimension has the role of an important actor in the environment, but also a beneficiary of programs, projects, strategies of territorial development. The local, zonal, underregional level is the starting point for a complex system of interrelations, which will diversify to the higher regional and state levels. This detailing provides a better understanding of human evolution as well as the deduction of trends that are shape dinaterritorial zonal profile. This study includes an assessment of the geodemographic component at the level of the primaryterritorial-administrative units and could serve as a reference for substantiating sectoral and territorial development policies.
