Abstract:
The Republic of Moldova is generating important migratory flows, as a result in the last 20 years many Moldovan communities have appeared in many countries of the world. We can take into account various criteriafor the diaspora, if we refer to the citizens of the Republic of Moldova, the Moldovans or the Moldovan / Romanian ethnicity in the various states. Of course, some diaspora communities have long appeared since the 18th-19th centuries, especially in the Russian Federation. The current processes have led to the creation of an important diaspora in the European Union states, especially Italy, Spain, Portugal, Germany, Great Britain, Ireland, Greece etc. The mapping and detailed presentation of all Moldovan natives is a difficult task, but using various sources and methods has been made as far as possible a correct analysis.
