Abstract:
In the last decades, the classic methodology for evaluating the base flow, was replaced by new specialized algorithms. One of them is base flow index (BFI), which includes 11 separate algorithms. The purposeof this study is to determine the base flow index (BFI) within three hydrometric stations located on rivers characterized by different phisical-geographic conditions from Republic of Moldova (Trinca – Draghiște river, Cubolta – Cuboltariver, and Ceadâr- Lunga – Lunga river).
