Abstract:
In this study were analized the synoptical causes which determines the drought of summer months on the territory of the Republic of Moldova. It was established that the main cause of summer droughts are anticyclone barrier fields (Scandinavian, Azoric, North African), that block cyclone areas with low presure, bringing precipitations. This research is contemporary because summer drought influences the majority of agricultural crops.
