Abstract:
Republic of Moldova crosses a dif icult period from the demographic point of view, influenced by political and economical changes, started with the state proclamation of independence (1991). The number of population is in continuing decreasing, wich determines the beggining of the demographic decline process. In this connection, there are registered changes in population quality. So, it could be deduced the extremely important role of studing the changes produced in quantitative and qualitative demographic aspects of the population.
