Abstract:
One of the most significant and important influences of the changes registered in the way of using the lands is the one represented by changes in the structure of the landscape. The dynamics of the patch, the heterogeneity and the fragmentation of the geographical landscape encompass the past, the present and the future of a landscape area in a unitary whole. The importance of understanding the past lies in the fact that it is not possible or a complete assessment of the current situation of a landscape mosaic without at least knowing its recent history.
