Abstract:
The paper exhibits the species Abemus chloropterus (Creutzer, 1796), from the subfamily Staphylininae, family Staphylinidae on the territory of the Republic of Moldova with presentation of obtained results: fauna - collections made from dif erent biotopes during the yers 1974, 1981, 1984, 2008, 2010. The analysis of the information from the specialty literature continued with the presentation of aspects related to: taxonomic structure, geographical distribution, morphology, bioecology sequences, importance in nature, database, Staphylinidae collection. The research and collections were undertaken according to the methods specific to the analyzed group.
