Abstract:
In the paper, based on statistical data on land use and population censuses, cartographic sources, was assessed the natural landscape index, population density, human pressure through agriculture, arable, meadows and human pressure on forest landscapes in temporal and spatial dynamics and human pressure on the environment through agriculture and anthropogenic pressure on forest landscapes in Basarabia in 1850 and 1910. Quantified values of the indices and human pressure on landscapes in the process of space exploitation were processed using GIS techniques with the development of cartographic models.
