Abstract:
The Republic of Moldova has signed the Association Agreement with European Union in 2014. Thus, Moldova has committed to transpose Acquis Communautaire in national legislation. The Directive 2007/2/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 14 March 2007 establishing an Infrastructure for Spatial Information in the European Community (INSPIRE)is one of Directives which Moldova has transposed in national legislation. This work will analyse the provisions of the INSPIRE and at what degree were these provisions transposed and specifically refers to the theme Hydrography. Also, the proposal is to apply the Hydrography theme on the Bic River Basin.
