Abstract:
Motivation is an essential factor in achieving success in any field of activity. New trends in the teaching of chemistry contribute to student-centered learning and the development of his personality, which is the subject of quality education. We often observe a lack of interest in studying chemistry in most students or a lack of motivation to achieve results. The paper considers strategies for stimulating students' motivation. Currently, using motivational methods, we can open the way for students to more productively master the subject of chemistry. Educators are faced with the challenge of how best to prepare students for productive lives. For students, in turn, the main goal is to learn rationally, find knowledge and think critically. It is substantiated that the presence of several functions of motivation shows that motivation not only precedes behavior, but is also constantly present at all its stages in all its links.
