Abstract:
Interest in purely ecological, balanced and healthy food products has grown significantly in recent years. Among such foods, special attention is paid to bee products, namely pollen, bee honey, pasture, propolis, royal jelly with high nutritional values, with a positive effect for health and suitable therapeutically.
The researches were focused on the examination of the physico-chemical composition of 4 types of bee honey (linden, acacia, sunflower and polyfloral honey) and the pollen of the respective honey plants; evaluating and assessing the quality of bee honey according to sensory and physico-chemical parameters. The revealed results were used to assess the physico-chemical characteristics of the investigated samples and to establish the main differences between their properties.
