Abstract:
The interaction of the building block [Co(DH)2Cl(H2O)] (DH2 – dimethylglyoxime) with a series of ligands, derivatives of pyridine established the creation of new compounds, in which the latter replaced the coordinated water molecule. The IR spectra of these complexes show bands characteristic of cobalt(III) trans-dioximates. X-ray study established the molecular and crystal structures, resulting in their formulas as [Co(D)(DH2)Cl(4-PyAO)].H2O, [Co(DH)2Cl(4-PyAmO)] . DMF and [Co(DH)2Cl(4-Hpyta)].H2O) (4-PyAO – 4-pyridylaldoxime, 4-PyAmO – 4-pyridylamidoxime, 4-Hpyta – 4-pyridylthioacetic acid).
