During about 50 years in GBN(I) collections of succulent plants (incl. fam. Cactaceae), sub- and tropical plants were collected and created, which at the end of 2022 numbered 3164 taxa belonging to 603 genera and 139 families. The most numerous families are: Cactaceae with 1026 taxa; Crassulaceae – 266; Araceae – 160; Asphodelaceae -150, Bromeliaceae – 134; Geraniaceae – 130; Aizoaceae -123 etc.
