Abstract:
Bioclimatic indices are designed to highlight the influence of climate on the human body. The analysis of the SSI bioclimatic index for the period 2000-2012 for Braila county shows that the values of the bioclimatic indices are dependent on the variation of the values of meteorological parameters measured at climatological observation times (air temperature and air humidity). The SSI index also showed that in Braila county there are predispositions for a wide range of bioclimate types.
