Abstract:
In this paper, Hirschfeld Surface Analysis - a convenient and accessible tool, implemented in the Crystal Explorer 17.5 program is highlighted. This method allows for the estimation of the contribution of intermolecular interactions in the formation and stabilization of supramolecular structures. Furthermore, Hirschfeld surface analysis and two-dimensional fingerprint plots were used to quantify the percentage contributions of the intermolecular interactions present in the co-crystal of 2,4-diamino-6-phenyl-1,3,5-triazine and malonic acid.
