Abstract:
Music is a form of knowledge impregnated with many inherent information, shaping itself in a specific way of reflecting reality, through melodic tone, by playing a structure and chains of beautifully harmonized sounds. In this way, music offers us many opportunities for a holistic education in the broadest sense of the word. The unique formative valences attested in the practice of choral music endowed it with a remarkable and invaluable value. This article presents an overview of studies dedicated to choral performance in order to highlight the formative values that choral singing brings to education in general and music education in particular.
