Abstract:
In primary school, the pupil must be helped to understand the message of the text read and to discover what he can capitalize on from the act of reading. In choosing the literary texts, which are proposed to the students, certain selection criteria must be taken into account: accessibility, attractiveness, value, volume of the text, etc. The comprehension of the literary text contributes to the sensitization towards the literary-artistic message launched by the author, to the cultivation of the aesthetic taste, of the critical spirit and of the value judgment of the student.
