Abstract

Promoting modern (interactive) training methods that have the capacity to stimulate the active and full, physical and mental, individual and collective participation of students in the learning process has preoccupied the researchers. Students must be taught to think critically, creatively, constructively and effectively. This article presents methods with creative features and methods with activating features through the use of which students develop critical thinking, which enhance the functionality of the mind, stimulate its capacity for exploration and discovery, analysis and synthesis, reasoning and evaluation: brainstorming, cluster technique, mosaic method, cube, quintet, tithe technique I know / want to know / I learned, the pyramid method, the corner method etc.
