Abstract:
This article is important for three research directions. It offers a diagnostically pentagonal analyze of The National Curriculum applied at Geography in Romania in order to point out the favorable and restrictive issues in the process of building and developing the inquiry competence. We compared The Geographical curriculum in the performant countries as U.K., Canada, Australia and concluded the position of the investigative competence, the main geographical concepts and the levels of investigative educational practice in the system of long term learning. The study proposes an example to form geographical concepts developing investigative competence in a spiral curriculum concept based.
