Viața cotidiană în Basarabia (anii 1930). Repere istoriografice

Abstract

This article aims to explore the historical landmarks related to the daily life in Bessarabia from the 30s, the stage where the most important advances were marked in all areas of the social and cultural life of the local population. It is necessary to overcome some existing clichés in historiography (Sovietcommunist style). The evolution of daily life in Bessarabia as part of Greater Romania has been a constant subject of study and debate for historiography, ever since its union with the Romanian state in 1918. The bibliography of the problem distinguishes between a Romanian paradigm and a narrowly Moldavian one, located along time in a maximum tension ratio. If the first naturally integrates the Moldavians east of the Prut into a common trunk of all Romanians, the second tends to give a distorted expression to their origin and ethnolinguistic profile, to cut them off and single them out from the landscape Romanian general. Thus, Bessarabia in the composition of the whole Romanian state as a historical fact and as a problem was analyzed, commented and appreciated from various aspects, starting from the various visions, interests and positions of those involved in this process.
