Abstract:
In this article we aim to talk about the first stage of studying the Romanian language by foreign students, the audiolingual phase. During this introductory stage, students perceive the Romanian language phonologically, learn to listen, notice and articulate correctly the sounds of the Romanian language. The research highlights the models of the hearing process and specifies its stages: pre-hearing, actual hearing and post-hearing. We also come up with some methodological suggestions for the correct selection of texts for listening and for the efficient organization of the process of oral reception of the text.
