Abstract:
In this article, the authors demonstrate that Intercultural Education, in the university context, is an effective way to infuse important changes in this field, a relevant didactic approach to cultural differences, which aims primarily at educating values. Thus, as content units, proposed for the taught subjects, we discuss models of intercultural education from different countries; we examine the forms of manifestation of cultural diversity in the Republic of Moldova, conducting case studies as individual work; we elucidate what would be and are the perspectives of intercultural education in our country and we finally answer the question: what is the role of the modern teacher in today's multicultural society? In the article we also present a series of interactive methods and techniques that would increase the efficiency of the teaching-learning-evaluation process of these valuable contents.
