Abstract:
The textbook is the official document of education policy, through which the teaching-learningassessment process is organized and the basic requirements of the education system are met. Changing the way the textbook is presented, from the traditional format, paper, to the digital one is due to the rapid innovations in the field of information and communication technologies. The digital textbook presents the contents in a systematic way, organized by scientific fields, suggests relevant practices needed to ensure the creative and active training of skills, placing the student in new learning circumstances, enriched by a special motivation for the educational act.
