Abstract:
This article presents the relevance of self-knowledge in the formation of the personal identity of young school-age students. Efficient functioning in the social and school environment is facilitated by students' ability to self-knowledge. The difficulties of childhood and adolescence raise the issue of the need for students to acquire strategies for self-knowledge and personal development. One of the most important methods of self knowledge is the SWQT technique. It also presents the important aspects of self-knowledge, namely self-knowledge, personal skills and abilities, motivation, emotions and mechanisms of defense and adaptation, perceived self-efficacy.
