dc.description.abstract The formation of the concept of number is based on: knowledge and use in writing of specific graphic symbols used to write numbers. Number writing is a higher stage in the abstraction process. Writing numbers often requires psychological difficulties for the child, some even more difficult than writing the first signs of the alphabet. The number represents the sign the graphic sign of the number when writing which is necessary the close connection between: the numerical concept, the verbal expression and the graphic sign. en_US
