Abstract:
Professional self-determination is part of a larger process of the mechanism of life independent choice in
addition to social, family and personal. It involves making decisions on three aspects of the activity: the
profession, the specialty, the approach and the ways of professional training. When the school and / or professional
choice is made according to the strongest unmet need at that moment, and along the way there is an evolution or a
motivational progress, the individual is more closely linked to the activity (school or professional). If the choice is
based on secondary and especially external reasons, it leads to failures doubled by dissatisfaction, poor integration
(school or professional), dropout tendencies, etc.
