Analiza comparativă. Compoziţia „Judecata de Apoi”

Abstract

Why is it important to research this issue that deals with the boyars' foundations and especially the case study of a foundation? Historians have highlighted in many papers the importance of the relationship between the reign and the great boyar, as a decision-maker in political matters, in social and cultural artistic evolution. Boyars being the Lord that was with the enthronement or conspired against them, causing conflicts unusual for that time by treachery and usurpation. Among them were the boyars who remained loyal and sought to follow the Lord's tradition of building places of worship. Thus, the boyars are part of the social and artistic evolution contributing to the enrichment of the cultural heritage. The comparative analysis of the composition "The Last Judgment" found in the iconographic plan of the Moldoviţa foundation made by the ruler and the boyar foundations of Humor and Coşula attests to the creativity and originality of the painters of those times, but especially their uniqueness.
