Abstract:
Weaving is a traditional occupations of the nations of ancient times. The products of the crafts were used in the domestic life, but also as objects for decorating the dwellings. Traditional carpets are preserved today with great care and are passed from generation to generation or become objects of museum heritage. This article is dedicated to examining the similarities and differences in the processing of raw materials by using natural products and knowledge of the fabric of weavers. The study is based on the historiography analysis of the 19th-21st century, as well as field studies.
