The tendency of learning by discovery, of active learning, the orientation
towards the formation of critical thinking skills is emphasized more and more
in the last period. The achievement of these objectives in the field of discipline
The history of Romanians and Universal is accompanied by the examination
of a wide range of information made available to teachers and students from
historical sources. In this variety of sources, literary works plays a special
role. Although, the literary works do not fully reflect the historical reality,
they have a special role in teaching history by the fact that: incorporate the
features of a historical period; artistically characterize certain historical
processes and phenomena; describe historical personalities and events in
which they were involved; stimulate the student's imagination; diversify the
teaching and learning of History; ensure the interdisciplinarity between
history and literature. Therefore, in approaching literary works of historical
character, the teacher can use at the history lessons a number of works that
will make his teaching more interesting, more motivating. |
