Abstract:
This article analyzes the level of reflection of human and child rights in the
Curriculum and the implementation guide to Education for society, middle
school and high school. The current Curriculum for Education for Society
focuses in particular on the principles of Education for Democratic
Citizenship and Education for Human Rights (EDC / EDO). The emphasis
is on the fact that people should learn how to become democratic citizens and
that they need, in order to exercise their role as citizens, skills that are not
innate but must be developed through education. Thus, Education for society
is the discipline that creates conditions to prepare and encourage children /
young people to participate in the life of their communities.
