Muzeul local ca instrument extracurricular de promovare a istoriei, culturii şi tradiţiilor naţionale în Republica Moldova

Abstract

The local museum as an important phenomenon of culture and educational instrument appears on the territory of Bessarabia in the second half of the century XIX and retains this important function during the interwar period. Becoming in the Soviet period an important ideological instrument, the interest for the local museum is lost, which portrays the specificity of the local culture. At the present stage we have a good opportunity to use local museums to involve students in the process of knowing and preserving the local cultural heritage.
