Abstract:
The purpose of reading goes far beyond the objectives set out in school
curricula. The formation of abilities to discover literary and non-literary
texts are essential in the intellectual development of children. Outlining the
first elements of the student's cultural profile is a goal that can be achieved
by knowing the literary texts that should be a common cultural core at the
level of generation and between generations. The issue of the text is
circumscribed depending on the dimension assigned to it in the process of
forming the reader: the function of reading support, but also the value of
artistic creation or cultural object. The valorization of traditions in literary
works requires the presence of didactic approaches meant to inscribe the text
in the cultural context that generated it or in the cultural horizon that it re creates and to put the proposed text for reception with other texts.
