Abstract:
The paper presents a preliminary study of the identification of leather and fur
handicrafts parts from the Soviet period and Repablic of Moldova. Initially, the
historical evolution of the traditional pieces of leather and furs in this period
was studied. The great interest in handicrafts pieces is motivated not only by
the objective appreciation of vital, aesthetic and ethical values, but also by an
ecological crisis related to the loss of creative capacities, capitalization of
material goods, weakening continuity between generations and the
disintegration of the intangible and ethnic cultural heritage of the people.
