Abstract

Maslow’s theory of self – actualization introduced many changes to the modern view, as evidenced by the growing interest shown by scholars in education, psychology, business, social studies and other areas. Our research focused on the relationship between loneliness and self – actualization. According to Maslow's theory, people who are in the process of self-actualization does not scared of loneliness as have most people, on the contrary solitude is sought and recovered all its opportunities for personal development and peak experiences.
