Abstract:
The article approaches the problem of relation between the emotional intelligence (EI) and the
student’s adaptation to the university medium. The adaptation of the student life, the content and
the manner of organization of the instructive activity is made on the influence of a numerous
factors, here being and the emotional factors. The students with a satisfied level of EI development
adapt properly and pass all the misfortune, having success at university medium. Although, other
category of youth is captive for different socio-emotional barriers, which doesn’t allow them to
have a proper behaviour. It was established that these youth has difficulties with self adjustment
and self control of the emotions, they are unsociable, to emotive to unimportant things, isn’t
mastery of impulse, easily stressed.
